MGI (Motorized Golf Inc.) formed a joint venture with Bag Boy Company, a distributor of Golf Bags and Pull Carts, to distribute their very successful MGI Navigator product. To that end, Bag Boy required additional features from what the current caddy had. Its many features and functions now set Bag Boy's Navigator apart from the rest of the field i.e. a 200 yard remote, a lighter battery, an adjustable handle, solid rubber tires, ajustable bag suports, water bottle holder, seat, front end suspension and a full function Reverse and now the new Bag Boy Navigator Elite has a gyroscopic steering control a full color interactive screen that shows battery charge status, distance traveled, time, service and maintenance sensors- what more could you want?
The 2012 Navigator Elite's intelligent On-Board gyroscopic compass keeps the motorcaddie on a straight course, regardless of the obstacles and uneven terrain it encounters. Just like a plane or boat, this auto-pilot function keeps the motorcaddie on the intended direction, regardless of side-hills or uneven terrain. Thanks to this unique compass, you have no need to re-direct the motorcaddie down a fairway or even over a hill; it goes in the direction you initially pointed it.
The Navigator is the only caddie with a fully rotating front-wheel, set using independent suspension. This feature provides exceptional turning; a fluid ride on the roughest ground and strong, balanced support for your bag and clubs. Its unique front wheel, two drive wheels and an Anti-tip rear wheel give it incredible stability.
And it doesn't matter whether you are big or small, have a big bag or a light bag, the new, adjustable handle and adjustable bag supports take care of any height and size.
The remote can transmit up to 200 yards and has a "heartbeat" that communicates to the caddy that it is in range. If it should go out of range, the caddy automatically shuts down, preventing a run-a-way.
In addition, the Navigator's twin motors offer whisper-quiet performance and drive each rear wheel independently for "turn-on-a-dime" steering and simple maneuvering. And when you want to stop - just tap the brake button on the remote and you will "stop-on-a-dime". Should your caddy be too close and pointing toward the woods, just press the Reverse control on the remote and the caddy will back up whatever the distance you choose. The caddy also has functions on the handle to allow you to operate it in tight places and comes with a 10 lb., 24 Volt battery and an auto-cutoff battery charger.
The Bag Boy Navigator Elite is offered with a 2 year warrantee on parts and labor and one year replacement on the charger.
